Bio

Alireza received his B.S. degree in Solid State Physics from University of Guilan in 2010. He continued his studies and received his M.S. degree in Physics from Lund University in 2014. His research focused on device fabrication as well as electrical and optical characterization of flexible InP nanowire-based photovoltaic solar cells. During the same period, Alireza worked as a process engineer at SolVoltaics AB, specifically on GaAs nanowire solar cells. Afterwards, he worked as a research scientist in the Department of Physics at University of Guilan on thin film technologies.

In 2018, Alireza joined the NPRL at RIT as part of the Mohseni Research Group. His research interests are in the area of nanowire growth, fabrication, and characterization of novel optoelectronics devices. He is currently working on InAs nanowire selective-area epitaxy by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition. He is also investigating advanced fabrication techniques for flexible nanowire-based optoelectronic devices.
