Portrait of Andrew Sevigny

Andrew Sevigny

Andrew Sevigny is a seasoned creative and technology enthusiast who operates at the edge of digital media production.

A New Hampshire native, Andrew moved to Rochester in 2015 to pursue a degree in software engineering at RIT. However, he switched gears to follow his existing passion and experience in video production, graduating with a degree in Motion Picture Science in 2019.

During his academic tenure at RIT, Andrew focused heavily on experiential learning, gaining extensive skillsets and connections as a member of RIT Tech Crew, RIT SportsZone, and University Production Services. He served in a research role at MAGIC Spells Studios during his senior year, developing processes for students to take advantage of the digital cinema production facilities. After graduating, Andrew continues to provide research and technology support to the MAGIC Spell Studios.

Andrew also serves as Chief Operations Officer and co-founder of Mountain House Media, a Rochester-local commercial media production company whose roots began at MAGIC Spell Studios. Keeping up to date with the rapid changes in media technology, Andrew has helped to integrate Virtual Production, Cinema Robotics and generative AI into MHM’s workflows, providing Rochester with novel, Hollywood-level production possibilities.
