Part of Flower City Art Center’s Expanding the Field visual arts program for young artists, local students were asked to create images expressing their point of view on issues concerning race, identity, culture, human rights and more. The project assignment, led by Rashaad Parker and Granville Carroll, challenged students to explore these themes with handmade and digital imaging techniques, using only Black, White and Red. This project was co-sponsored by the Rochester Area Community Foundations Arts Prevail Fund.

The installation will be on view in our special project space from August 6-29, 2021. Special thanks to CJ Williams.
