Open Computer Lab

The open computer labs is a facility equipped with high speed/capacity PCs with numerous engineering/statistical application software installed on each of the 24 systems to serve for several courses taught in both Mechanical and Industrial Engineering programs. The environment was designed to be a good environment for enhancing the interest of the students and encouraging new and novel ideas.

The lab serves a wide range of graduate and undergraduate courses, such as MECE 605 Finite Elements, MECE 317 Numerical Methods, MECE 104: Engineering Design Tools, ISEE 140: Material Processing, MECE 117 Introduction to Programming, and ISEE 301: Operations Research. 

Besides supporting undergraduate students in their course work, the laboratory is also utilized to support graduate students.
