Sunsetting Respondus 4 & iClicker Support

As part of our ongoing efforts to align support with current usage and available technologies, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) will be sunsetting support for Respondus 4.0 (Online Assessment Management) and iClicker at the conclusion of the spring semester. The Respondus contract will officially expire on June 30, 2026.

This change reflects a shift toward more widely adopted tools and solutions that better support teaching and learning across RIT.

CTL remains committed to helping you navigate this transition. If you rely on advanced assessment tools, such as printing randomized exams, we can work with you to identify and implement alternative solutions within myCourses.

For iClicker, support will continue to be available directly through the vendor. While CTL is not currently able to provide a centrally supported polling tool, we are happy to meet with you to explore alternative strategies and technologies that meet your instructional needs.

Camtasia Reminder: Access under the current license ends on April 23, 2026.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss your course technology and media options, please reach out to ctl@rit.edu.
