Your RIT journey officially kicks off next month, and we know you're probably buzzing with excitement (and maybe a few questions!). This week let’s focus on getting you ready for Welcome Days and Orientation.  

Welcome Days
Monday, Aug. 17, and Tuesday, Aug. 18

Monday, August 17 is the primary Welcome Day and includes move‑in, Orientation check‑in, and a variety of activities, including a resource fair, designed to help you get settled. Tuesday, August 18 features limited programming and time to settle in before New Student Orientation officially begins at 4 p.m.

The complete Welcome Days and Orientation Schedule is now available! To navigate your Orientation journey, download the CampusGroups app or visit campusgroups.rit.edu on your web browser. 

View the Orientation schedule: 

  1. Download the CampusGroups app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store 

  2. Search for and select RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) 

  3. Select RIT Orientation 2026 

  4. Log in using your RIT account 

Live ZeeMee Event: AMA with Residence Life and Orientation

Monday, August 3 | 7 p.m. | ZeeMee App 

Get ready for a live ZeeMee event designed to help you crush your first week at RIT. Whether you’re already packing your bags or still feeling those pre-college jitters, we’re here to make sure you land on campus with confidence. Now is the time to ask those final questions. Let’s get you ready to hit the ground running.
