Where: Gordon Field House and Activities Center, Mezzanine Floor

Looking for your next co-op, internship, or full-time opportunity? Join us for RIT's University-Wide Career Fair on Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Gordon Field House!
This signature fair is an excellent opportunity to meet with employers, ranging from small firms to Fortune 500 companies, actively recruiting talented problem-solvers like you.

The fair is open to RIT students and alumni from any academic program.

February Graduate Student Coffee Hour - Send a Postcard Home

When: February 26, 2026, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Where: Crossroads, River Room

Stop by for coffee and conversation, and send a postcard to the ones you love. Family back home will enjoy the pleasant surprise. We’ll cover the cost of postage! Enjoy a brew, engaging discussion, and warm connections. 

Postcards, pens, markers, and directions will be provided. This event is reserved for graduate-level students.

AWARE-AI Spring 24 Hour Hackathon

When: February 26, 2026, 4:00 pm - 11:59 pm - February 27, 2026, 12:00 am - 6:00 pm
Where: ENG-2560

Facilitator: Ferat Sahin, Ph.D., Department Head, Electrical and Microelectronic Engineering

During the hackathon, graduate students will create a deployable AI system that exemplifies the principles of human awareness and responsibility and demonstrate what they created. Hosted by the AWARE-AI Program, this free competition welcomes NRT Trainees and other RIT graduate students. If you are not an AWARE-AI trainee, this free hackathon requires registration. Professor Stefan Preble holds a quantum photonic wafer, which was first developed on RIT’s campus and is a key technological advancement in quantum photonic research.

RIT, URochester to receive $2 million to advance quantum communication network

RIT and the University of Rochester will receive $2 million in federal funding to further develop the Rochester Quantum Network (RoQNET). The National Institute of Standards and Technology is providing the funding to advance the future of secure quantum communications and to build new capabilities for RoQNET.
