Workshop on Using Storytelling Techniques to Communicate STEM Research: Facilitated by Dr. Ammina Kothari, Dean of the Gwen Ifill School of Media, Humanities, and Social Sciences at Simmons University.
AWARE-AI Trainees and other graduate students will be introduced to storytelling mechanics and data visualization techniques for crafting jargon-free, compelling messages for a broader audience on social media and other official communication channels.

RIT researcher studies how exercise could reduce the risk of aneurysm rupture

RIT Professor Zhongwang Dou recently received a prestigious National Science Foundation Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) award for a five-year project to detail how blood flow within an aneurysm is affected by movement, and how physical exercise might affect the risk of aneurysm rupture.
