AWARE-AI: Fall Mentor Café

When: September 18, 2023, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Where: James E. Gleason Hall, 09-2955/Gordon Atrium

Hosted by the AWARE-AI NSF Research Traineeship (NRT) Program in the Golisano Atrium, this Mentor Café event welcomes AWARE-AItTrainees and other RIT graduate students. Participating students will have the opportunity to interact with postdocs and early career researchers in a fun and interactive format.

Graduate Resume Creation Workshop

Where: Campus Center (CPC) - 2610/2650, Bamboo Rooms

Join us to learn what makes a great graduate resume. Our team will share best practices and review common mistakes to avoid on your resumes.

This will be a hands-on workshop, so bring your laptop and come prepared with a job description for a position you’d like to apply to. A live Q&A will take place after the presentation for students to ask personalized questions.

Rochester Institute of Technology’s Gabriel Diaz, associate professor in the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science, has earned the Research to Prevent Blindness/Lions Clubs International Foundation Low Vision Research Award (LVRA), in collaboration with researchers at the University of Rochester.
