Graduation is a special time for our graduates and their families. Your assistance during each ceremony makes the event even more special. Thank you for taking the time to make this a memorable event for our graduates and their families.

RIT Commencement Volunteer Registration Form

Please note: This form is for general volunteer assignments. Please register here only if you are volunteering in addition to assignments required by your college/unit.

Commencement Volunteer FAQ

Most volunteer positions require a 3-hour time commitment and involve standing and interacting with guests for the duration of the shift.

Volunteers can register via this form. Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with your volunteer assignment(s). If you do not receive confirmation, please send an email to graduation@rit.edu and include VOLUNTEER in the subject line. We are using a platform called CERVIS that enables us to communicate with volunteers more efficiently. 

Volunteers may login to their account on the registration page and update their profile and/or assignment information at any time.

Volunteer Training will be held on:

 

  • Thursday, May 2 from 9:30-10:30am Club Lounge – Gene Polisseni Center
  • Monday, May 6 from 2-3pm Club Lounge – Gene Polisseni Center

 

Visit the Volunteer Hospitality Room | Field House Reception Room, 2nd floor overlooking the pool

  •  Friday: 12:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. | Lunch  | Hot dinner
  •  Saturday: 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. | Continental breakfast | Lunch Sandwich buffet
  •  Hot and cold beverages will be available at all times
