Accessibility Guide for the Gordon Field House
The information contained in this guide highlights some of the features available at the Gordon Field House for guests with disabilities as set forth in the Americans with Disabilities Act. The Field House offers accessible and companion seating on the Mezzanine and Event Levels for all events (accessible seating locations are subject to change based on the seating configuration for various events), Please contact the Field House Box Office at (585) 475-4121 to order your tickets so that we can best accommodate your needs.
Drop-Off Location/ Building Entrance
The accessible drop-off location is located on the Ground/Event Level at the Northwest corner of the building (near parking lot D). For access during non-event hours, please press the call button, speak to the building staff, and they will grant you access.
Accessible parking spaces are available in the Southeast corner of parking lot D.
Assisted Listening Devices
Assisted Listening Devices are free of charge and available for all events from the Box Office, located in the Northwest corner of the Field House on the Mezzanine Level. For security purposes, a valid driver’s license or major credit card is required and will be returned when the listening device(s) is returned to the Box Office.
An elevator is located just inside the entrance to the Student Life Center (SLC) from the Gordon Field House. During events where the entrance is closed off, a building staff member will assist guests with disabilities to the elevator. The elevator provides access from the Event Level to the Mezzanine Level.
All public restrooms are equipped with accessible sinks, stalls, and amenities. There are four public restrooms throughout the Field House. Two public restrooms are located on the Event Level as well as two more located on the Mezzanine level. All public restrooms are accessible to guests in wheelchairs.
The Gordon Field House offers interpretive services at most events for guests with hearing disabilities. For concerts and other ticketed events, guests are encouraged to contact the Field House Box Office to purchase tickets.
Service animals for guests with disabilities will be permitted inside the Gordon Field House. Service animals must remain on a leash at all times.
