The Environmental Health and Safety Department is part of RIT's Global Risk Management Services Division. The primary goal of the Department is to ensure a safe and healthy living, working, and learning environment for all students, faculty, staff, and visitors, while minimizing RIT's impact on the environment. In order to accomplish this goal, we have assembled a knowledgeable and experienced staff to provide expert advice in the areas of health and safety, environmental compliance, stewardship, and fire safety. Programs in these areas serve as the framework for environmental, health, and safety training and implementation.

This site should be a resource in order to ensure a safe and healthy environment here at RIT. If you have questions, please contact our office.
