Bullied relentlessly as a child, with low self-esteem and a constant day dreamer, he took a journey to find purpose and videotape the world. Finding himself--finding his voice--led him to shatter his silence. After 30-plus countries, it was time to come home. Everything he learned led him to the maze of local TV news--telling stories during some of the most challenging times in recent history.
