Web Standards

The accuracy and presentation of information as published on the web plays a critical role in maintaining RIT's standing as a leading career-oriented university.

The standards help create a framework for proper usage with regard to language, graphics, and navigational architecture on all RIT-related websites, and also detail required elements for sites and pages.

The RIT web standards document was created through a joint effort of several departments across campus. For more information, contact Jared Lyon at jhlcmp@rit.edu.

For RIT’s official standards on graphic identity, grammar, and style, please consult the RIT Identity Manual and the RIT Grammar and Style Guide.
