RIT Dubai’s Admissions Office strongly believes in ensuring that highly motivated and academically strong students are rewarded for their efforts and achievements. Additionally, RIT Dubai scholarships encourage students to excel in their course work and become valuable participants in extracurricular and community activities.
The goals and objectives of RIT Dubai scholarships and financial aid are to:
- Attract students with outstanding academic achievements through a merit-based scholarship incentive.
- Support student success and promote academic excellence throughout the student’s course of study by extending scholarships to current students.
- Provide an opportunity to qualified students with financial constraints to fulfill their ambition of joining RIT Dubai by providing necessary financial aid.
Key Points to Consider When Applying for Scholarships:
- Prospective students can apply for a scholarship after being accepted in RIT Dubai.
- Current students can apply for a scholarship at the end of each academic year.
- All awards are valid for one academic year for undergraduate students and one semester for graduate students.
- All awards are re-evaluated each year based on the student’s academic performance and any demonstrated leadership role in extracurricular activities or competitions that have significantly impacted the UAE or the global landscape and produced a positive image of RIT Dubai and its programs.
- Students are encouraged to apply for multiple scholarship options.
Student Referral Program Incentives
As an RIT student/Alumni, you can be rewarded for sharing your RIT experience with a co-worker, family member, or friend who might be interested in one of our programs. The Student Referral Program offers a range of incentives, from scholarships to cash payments, when you refer one or more students to RIT Dubai.
To benefit, you should ensure that you complete the referral form before Enquiry or application stage. (T&C Apply)
Eligible students will receive an email indicating that they have been qualified for a referral incentive.

Undergraduate Scholarship
Section A: Scholarships & Financial Aid

Academic Scholarship
This award offers scholarships of up to 45% to students with an exceptional academic background, based on their high school percentage.

Dean’s Scholarship Award
This award provides a 30% scholarship to a limited number of students, based on their academic grades in subjects relevant to their intended field of study. Eligibility is assessed using the following courses:

Tiger Journey Scholarship 20% flat scholarship
An initiative that grants a limited number of students a 20% flat scholarship on the tuition fees for the entire program. To qualify for this award, student’s will be assessed based on the following:
- Academic Performance: Applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance based on their high school predicted or final grades, in accordance with the scholarship criteria established by the University.
- Early Enrollment: Priority shall be given to applicants who complete their admission requirements and confirm their enrollment early.
Corporate Scholarships
RIT Dubai offers corporate scholarships of up to 35% to eligible students affiliated with participating companies, organizations, and membership programs.

RIT Dubai offers financial aid of up to 50% to students who require financial assistance to attend the university. Awards are based on demonstrated financial need and an assessment of the applicant’s financial circumstances.
Required supporting documents
- Stamped bank statements for each parent covering the last six months.
- Salary certificate for each parent.
- Rental contract.
- Invoices or receipts for educational tuition fees paid for each sibling.
- Scanned copies of passports and visas for all family members.
- Additional supporting documents, such as family expense details or loan statements.
Global Tigers Scholarship 10 seats per academic year
New international students may be eligible for a 40% scholarship on first-year tuition fees. This award is available to a limited number of international students each academic year. Continued support may be available based on outstanding academic achievement or financial aid options.
- The Global Tigers Scholarship is offered to new students only.
- The scholarship is renewed after the Summer 1 term each year, based on the academic scholarship table.

Extracurricular Achievement Scholarship
This award offers a 5% scholarship to students who demonstrate exceptional extracurricular achievements during their time at school, such as in drama, music, or chess. Applicants must provide evidence of participation and leadership in one or more activities demonstrating outstanding ability, initiative, and dedication.
Sibling Discount
Students with siblings concurrently enrolled at RIT Dubai may be eligible for a tuition discount. This discount is in addition to any merit-based scholarships awarded and is assessed for applicability on a term-by-term basis.

Teaching Assistantship
RIT Dubai offers graduate students the opportunity to work alongside professors in selected departments, assisting department chairs with academic-related tasks. Selected students may receive a scholarship of up to 50%, while gaining valuable experience and developing their professional skills through teaching assistant responsibilities.

RIT Dubai offers academic scholarships of up to 30% to students with excellent academic records, based on the cumulative GPA of their undergraduate degree.

Section B: Additional Scholarships & Discounts
Additional scholarship opportunities for eligible graduate students.
Executive Experience Award
This award offers qualified graduate students scholarships of up to 10%, based on years of full-time relevant work experience and demonstrated achievements in their field of study. Relevant professional experience is the primary criterion.
To qualify, applicants must:
- Summarize their work experience, including job title, responsibilities, and projects, and explain how this experience relates to and will help them succeed in their chosen program.
- Submit official work experience letters from current and previous employers.
Alumni Family Discount
Students with at least one immediate family member (father, mother, sibling, or spouse) who has graduated with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree from the RIT Dubai campus may be eligible for a 5% grant on annual tuition fees.
Athletic Scholarship and Award
At RIT Dubai, we recognize the importance of athletics and are pleased to announce scholarships up to 50% for academic achievers who are athletically talented. Students can apply for the athletic scholarship if they play one of the below-mentioned sports:
- Soccer
- Volleyball
- Cricket
- Basketball
The following documents must be submitted with the scholarship application:
- Submit videos of your most recent game
- A document that has your history as a player, strengths, past successes, and athletic skills
- Reference letter from coach/PE teacher
- Register for a team online

Award:
The Office of Student Affairs also honors high achieving student-athletes annually with specific athletic awards in the annual Student Affairs Awards Ceremony.
Scholarship Terms and Conditions
- If the scholarship application is incomplete, the application will not be considered for evaluation by the scholarship committee.
- The above scholarship & financial aid scheme applies to students joining RIT Dubai in Fall 2021 onwards and is not applicable for current RIT Dubai students.
- The above scholarship & financial aid scheme applies to the Dubai campus only.
- Scholarships including financial aid are capped at 30% during the study abroad term, i.e., New York, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, and Kosovo.
- To be applicable for Scholarship, undergraduate students must register for a minimum of 12 credit hours and graduate students must register for a minimum of 6 credit hours.
- The Undergraduate Financial Aid scholarship is valid for a single academic year, and students may reapply to extend their financial aid. Please note that only 45% of financial aid will be reviewed each semester.
- Students applying for Corporate scholarships must have a minimum of 6 months’ membership to be eligible.
- The scholarship & Bursary percentages are capped to 50%.
- The sibling discount is applicable when both siblings are enrolled in classes during each term at RIT Dubai campus.
- Scholarship amount & conditions are strictly confidential and cannot be disclosed to anyone except those who have been mentioned in the information release form. Any breach of confidentiality can lead to your scholarship being revoked.
