Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) presents significant challenges for children, particularly in understanding, recognizing and expressing emotions impacting their social interactions and relationships. To address this, our project focuses on developing a mobile application tailored for children with ASD.
By offering a series of engaging games and activities, this application seeks to enhance cognitive and emotion recognition skills which impact social interactions for children with ASD. MoodMap App is aimed to create a user-friendly platform that helps children with Autism understand emotions.
The application is developed in a way that kids will find it easy to navigate, and the engaging games facilitates understanding and interaction with emotions. Currently MoodMap has three games with multiple levels, focusing on different aspects of emotion recognition and cognitive skill-building. Moreover, both parents and the specialist can track the kids progress and control the learning levels.
