There is nothing like tenure and promotion season to humble a provost with all the terrific work done by faculty. I really do enjoy reading about the research, the teaching philosophies, the input from colleagues, chairs, and deans as well as the external letters. There is a lot of information and evidence and it is critical that the president and I review it all and we do. And each year we are impressed that the dossiers continue to get stronger and more impressive.Read More
