Tom Moran had the fourth and final volume in the series Writing for Success: An Engineer’s Guide published. The final volume, Writing for Life is available as en e-book through IEEE-USA.
Tom Hanney had his article “Writing Well in Business” published in the September 2012 issue of the Croatian magazine Direktor.
CMS had four staff members nominated for the President’s Staff Award for Excellence. Elizabeth White was nominated as part of the Council of Scheduling Officers, Lea Stavoli was nominated as part of the CARES Team, and Michelle Firnstein and Dan Howell were nominated for their work on customized IAP worksheets in CMS. The CARES Team was named a winner this year!
Kitren VanStrander was appointed to serve a 2 year term on the RIT Staff Council Staff Awards selection committee.
