RIT Resources for New Faculty
FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS
The mission of the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is to provide quality services responsive to students' and families' needs while assisting them to obtain the funds required to complete RIT's academic programs. These funds may be from RIT, state and/or federal governments, private organizations or from generous gifts provided by friends of RIT. Last year, RIT and NTID students received more than $292 million from all sources. Many merit-based scholarships and need-based grants awarded by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships go to talented students who would otherwise be unable to attend RIT.
Every student has a financial aid counselor who is happy to answer students' questions and assist them in making appropriate financial arrangements to meet the costs of an RIT education. Counselors are assigned based on the student's academic program. Contact information can be found on our web page.
Financial Aid and Scholarships staff members work collaboratively with faculty and staff in order to maximize service to students. They routinely participate in outreach programs and serve as a resource for faculty and staff as well as for students. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
