(THE) GLBT CENTER

The Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, Transgender (GLBT) Center is located on the basement level of the Student Alumni Union (SAU). The Center is an emerging service center for GLBT and questioning students on the RIT campus. Supervised by the Center for Women and Gender, the GLBT Center is staffed for its daily operations by a small, but dedicated team that includes graduate and student staff members. The Center is the home for OUTSpoken, the major student organization dedicated to serving undergraduate students, and the RIT Gay Alliance (RITGA), a social and networking club for GLBT students and allies on campus. Both groups provide various programs that seek to support the GLBT population and educate our campus community. The Center sponsors various educational programs and oversees a small library of both print and video materials.
