It is important that new faculty complete the appropriate hiring paperwork to be sure they have the access they need. Faculty will access their class rosters, grade rosters, final exam schedule and other services through the Faculty Center within PeopleSoft. New Faculty from overseas or ROTC Instructors who are not paid directly by RIT need to complete a PeopleSoft Access Form found on the ITS Forms page http://rit.edu/its/help/forms/index.html. Directions for completing the form are at the same site. Both the employee and the department head must sign the form. .
Registrar's Office staff coordinates add/drop activity, process Change of Grade/Extension of Incomplete, Suspension/Suspension Waivers/CRP, Add/Drop/Audit and numerous other records maintenance forms. They record AP and transfer credit, and generate transcripts.
Students can use the Student Information System (SIS) to withdraw from classes on-line beginning the second week of the quarter through the Friday of the 8th week of classes.
Registrar's Office personnel are a resource for questions regarding policies, procedures and accreditation of other post secondary institutions. They coordinate degree certification, prepare and mail diplomas, and provide academic and management information and reports.
The Registrar's Office supplies student, faculty and staff ID cards for use throughout the campus.
