RIT Resources for New Faculty
CENTER FOR RELIGIOUS LIFE
RIT recognizes the importance of religion and spiritual exploration in its holistic commitment to education. The Center for Religious Life, one of twenty centers comprising the Division of Student Affairs, is a student resource for those of the campus community interested in worship, observance, interfaith dialogue, community service, and social gatherings. The CRL welcomes and encourages the diverse religious traditions on campus to work together on behalf of students, staff, and faculty.
Housed in the beautiful Kilian J. and Carolyn F. Schmitt Interfaith Center, the Center for Religious Life is located on the east side of the Student Alumni Union, just off the “quarter mile.” The center office complex provides office space for those chaplains placed here at RIT by their judicatories or regional or national offices to work within the campus community and the CRL. The Interfaith Center provides two chapels for worship and observance with a lower level conference room.
Please take a moment to visit the CRL online and “meet” the CRL chaplains at www.rit.edu/religion.
