CENTER FOR CAMPUS LIFE (STUDENT ACTIVITIES)
At RIT all campus student activities are supported through a variety of areas in the Center for Campus Life (CCL). Located in several offices throughout the Campus Center building, you will find Center staff at the building's first floor, in the Welcome Center, Club Center, and Student Government. You will also find staff on the A-level in the main CCL suite and the College Activities Board offices, and finally on the second floor in the Off Campus and Apartment Student Association office. Charged with providing a campus environment that supports transformational community and individual student activities, learning, and growth, the team of creative, collaborative, and committed professionals in the Center are on campus to offer students, clubs, and organizations – as well as the faculty and staff colleagues who support them – helpful models and structures for a co-curricular community of activities that are at once challenging, passionate, and fun!
Specific functional areas supervised directly by the Center are: building services for Student Alumni Union and the Campus Center, Fraternity and Sorority Life, administrative advising to the campus' eleven major student organizations, club administration and financial oversight, and event planning and technical support for a majority of the campus' late night and all-campus weekends and events.
The CCL welcomes and depends on the involvement of faculty and staff colleagues across the university, and any staff member would be thrilled to discuss ways faculty could become involved in supporting our students as they grow both in and outside of the classroom while at RIT.
