Peer Mentors

Our Peer Mentors are third- or fourth-year APR, Communication, and Journalism students who serve as informal advisors to all School of Communication students.  There are always at least two—and as many as five—Peer Mentors available to smooth the way for new students making their transition to RIT and help out all students with their problems.

The Peer Mentors are excellent resources for questions about classes, clubs on campus, student-run activities, faculty, and other stuff about both the School and RIT.  However, they do not assist you with academic advising.  For that support, see your professional academic advisor or faculty mentor.
