RIT’s Infinity Quad features the Infinity Loop sculpture in the main academic quad. Infinity Loop was designed by sculptor Jose de Rivera, and was installed when the Henrietta campus opened in 1968.

Created with stainless steel and black granite, it is referred to as the Infinity Loop because it is a constantly rotating Mobius strip with the cross section of an equilateral triangle, allowing it to portray the infinity symbol from certain angles and powered by a motor. The sculpture stands 19 feet tall.
