In the wake of the September 11 attacks, RIT Big Shot coordinators were invited by RIT President Albert J. Simone to participate in a special project conceived by the Rochester business community entitled “The Rochester Human Flag.”

The goal was to bring people together and express patriotism as volunteers formed a human flag that was captured by Big Shot photographers at Frontier Field, home of the Triple-A baseball team Rochester Red Wings.
