This Big Shot shined a light on voting and equal rights. Downtown Rochester’s National Susan B. Anthony Museum & House was the home of the legendary American civil rights leader, and the site of her famous arrest for voting in 1872.
This home was also the headquarters of the National American Woman Suffrage Association when Anthony was its president. Two photographs were taken this night: one of the actual museum and house and the other of the surrounding neighborhood.
