Smartphones equipped with cameras, microphones, and location services are essential in our daily lives but pose privacy risks due to third-party apps. These apps can misuse permissions to access sensitive information covertly, such as by activating cameras and microphones without user consent. This risk is especially concerning for users under 18, who may not recognize or report such attacks.
Our project introduces a mobile app designed to enhance device security by detecting unauthorized access to these features. It alerts users immediately about suspicious activity and monitors camera and microphone usage on children's devices, thus helping to detect potential privacy breaches by hackers.
