In this research we address the problem of malicious attacks on IIoT networks. This research provides an opportunity to develop significant outcomes on Edge-IIoTset cyber security dataset. Through the application of robust preprocessing, assessing classifiers of machine learning, neural network-based algorithms, and utilizing SHAP for explanations, we ensure machine learning models for IIoT security are transparent, precise, and interpretable.
This work will serve as a vital point of reference for upcoming research, setting new performance benchmarks and highlighting key considerations when working with the Edge-IIoTset cyber security dataset.
