Phishing Detection System Leveraging AI

In our project, we aim to create a phishing detection system using AI, where we will mainly focus on URLs to detect phishing and prevent it dynamically. That includes designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models. Features are extracted from URLs and their corresponding webpage data and are used for analysis.

Primary functionalities will include real-time detection of threats, automatic classification of URLs as either legitimate or phishing, and integration with the user interface (e.g., web-browser extension or web dashboard). For our project we will be using Chrome extensions to provide immediate alerts to the users.

Moreover, the solution will utilize dynamic threat intelligence feeds that will continuously update detection algorithms. This will enable the system to be resilient to evolving phishing tactics.
