Stop Motion
Visual Narratives: Storytelling Through Motion and Stillness
This project explores the art of storytelling through still imagery and motion sequencing. Using original photographs, students create a short one- to three-minute video in Adobe Premiere Pro, combining timing, transitions, and sound to communicate a clear idea or emotion. Emphasis is placed on visual rhythm, composition, and pacing—encouraging experimentation with photo-film or stop-motion techniques. The result is a cohesive and expressive narrative that transforms static images into a dynamic visual experience, blending creativity, emotion, and cinematic rhythm.

In this project, I created a stop-motion video that demonstrates how to make a soufflé in a clear and enjoyable way. Using frame-by-frame animation, each step of the recipe is shown from preparing the ingredients to mixing, pouring, and baking turning the process into a lively visual sequence. The playful movements, bright setup, and smooth transitions make the tutorial both easy to follow and fun to watch. This video combines creativity and instruction, showing how cooking can be presented in an artistic and engaging style.
