Data is everywhere, but how should you organize it, visualize it, and utilize it to solve problems and make data-driven decisions?  This hands-on workshop will show you how to use Microsoft® Excel for making sense of data. You will enhance your data analysis skills and learn how to interpret Excel output. All basic statistical techniques are explained as well as how to design spreadsheets that allow you to see the consequences of your statistical analyses and get immediate feedback. The workshop will also demonstrate how to plan your data collection process so that meaningful information can be extracted with the minimum cost and effort, and how you can produce reports with defendable statistical analyses.

1) On-campus option

The on-campus workshop is offered over a 3-day period.  Each topic is reinforced through discussion, case studies, and exercises.  Exercises are conducted in our computer lab using Microsoft® Excel.  Outside of class, participants are welcome to join online discussions with the instructor and other students.

2) “Blended online” option

The online instructor-led workshop covers the same material as the 3-day on-campus program but is available over a 10-day period through our online Learning Management System, providing flexibility to your schedule.  Learning materials include pre-recorded lectures, case studies, and exercises.  We keep you actively engaged through online discussions with the instructor and other students.
