Brian Tomaszewski

Brian Tomaszewski has a Ph.D. in Geography and does teaching and research on a topic called Geographic Information Systems (GIS). His work as an RIT Professor has enabled him to travel all over the world and often places that are very much off the beaten tourist path. His love of travel combined with the perspective of a Geographer and long-running interest in technology and visual communication has led him to create a unique photography catalog that brings to life places, people, and experiences. He also enjoys giving some background and context about each photograph so that beyond the aesthetic beauty of a particular photograph, you get a deeper understanding of where the photograph comes from and how he came about to create the photograph.
