College of Art and Design Glass Pumpkin Patch

a group of five glass pumpkins with green bodies and curly stems.

The Annual Glass Pumpkin Patch sale directly supports the RIT College of Art and Design Glass Department’s Visiting Artist Lecture Series and the Shop One mission to support RIT MADE Art + Craft + Design.

The glass pumpkins are handmade by RIT students and faculty in the College of Art and Design glass studio. Traditional hand blown glass techniques are used to manipulate the molten material and requires skill and confidence by these craftspeople who work as a team. May your glass pumpkin harvest each season bring you joy and the knowledge that you made a contribution to a worthwhile cause - our students!

The Pumpkin Patch Sale opens in Shop One (located in Global Village on the RIT campus) in early October and the sale continues through Brick City Weekend. Pumpkins are made available online each Tuesday and Thursday during the sale dates. Each 'Mystery Pumpkin' drop will feature four to five pumpkins. Your purchase ensures that one of the group will be shipped to you.

Stay tuned for the 2024 sale!
