Imagine RIT wins gold in CASE awards
The annual Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival has received a top honor from the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival drew a large and inquisitive crowd on May 4. More than 30,000 visitors explored the RIT campus during the festival.
Dr. Destler’s E-Durance Challenge Results
It was an outstanding pre-festival event in Simone Circle on Saturday, May 4. At 9 a.m., 11 teams drove their modified “Power Wheels” vehicles for one-hour in an effort to achieve the most laps.
Close to 5,000 members of the RIT and Rochester community voted to select this year’s Imagine RIT poster. Congratulations to Trinh D.H. Le, ’14, New Media Design and Imaging, for submitting her unique and stunning Tiger design that emerged victorious among more than 60 entries. Trinh will receive $500 in Tiger Bucks.
Learn about the festival through the experience of Elspeth Ochs, a fourth-year mechanical engineering student from Cape Cod, Mass. Elspeth volunteered in 2012 for ASME, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, which had six exhibits in the "Fluids are Fun" category.
