    Holiday collection begins for Toys For Tots

    The RIT Student Veterans Club is partnering with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program to collect donated, new, unwrapped toys that will be shared with area children who are less fortunate during the holiday season.

    RIT and its Air Force ROTC detachment receive prestigious partnership award

    RIT and its Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps Detachment 538 were presented the 2021 Department of Defense ROTC and Higher Educational Institution Partnership Excellence Award this morning. The award recognizes the detachment’s success as well as RIT’s contribution to the program.

Now, a fellowship program will share their expertise through peer mentorship, training, and program development. The Center for Teaching and Learning Faculty Fellows Program launched this fall with eight fellowships.

    Office of Veteran Student Success opens at RIT

    RIT is making it easier for military veterans and their families to attend college by opening the Office of Veteran Student Success. While RIT has long offered support to veterans, this is the first time a central office and space has been dedicated to support them.

    Distinguished alumni named for 2022-2023

    Eleven RIT alumni have been awarded Distinguished Alumni Awards for the 2022-2023 year. It is the highest award an RIT college can bestow upon its alumni and recognizes alumni who have performed at the highest levels of their profession or who have contributed to the advancement and leadership of civic, philanthropic, or service organizations. The 2022-2023 recipients will be honored during presentations throughout the academic year.
