This general electrical engineering research lab is used by faculty and graduate students to conduct research in a variety of focus areas such as: control systems, bio-robotics, and digital systems.  Some of the ongoing research and development projects are: “High spatial and temporal resolution mobile eye tracker” and “Dynamic Reconfiguration for Hardware Features”.

Powerful workstations for intensive computational tasks related to the R&D activities perfomed in the lab.  Prototyping boards for Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) from Xilinx (Virtex6 and Zinq), for embedded systems from Texas Instruments (OMAP3 and OMAP4).

Hewlett-Packard, Boise, ID is supporting the graduate students working on the “Dynamic Reconfiguration for Hardware Features”.  KGCOE and CIS are supporting the student working on the eye tracker project.
