The Networking and Information Processing (NetIP) Laboratory is located in GLE-3490 in the Department of Computer Engineering at RIT. Research work in the NetIP Lab centers on the areas of networking, signal and information processing. We investigate and develop new techniques for cooperative communication, cognitive networks, computing applications in sustainable infrastructure, network security, cyber situation awareness and distributed networking. Our approaches typically build upon machine learning, optimization, stochastic modeling and information fusion. Faculty: Drs. S. Jay Yang and Andres Kwasinski. http://netip.ce.rit.edu.
