What we do
The RIT Honors Engineering program provides gifted RIT engineering students the possibility to experience opportunities above and beyond those offered by standard engineering classes. We focus upon offering opportunities for students to participate in honors engineering classes with an emphasis on product development in a global economy. These classes are reinforced by complimentary domestic and international trips to help students experience the topics discussed in class firsthand.
The Honors Engineering program encourages increased student-faculty interaction through hands-on projects with faculty mentors. It also provides students with an opportunity to develop their product design skills in a multidisciplinary team of other honors engineering students.
