Trips

The objective of the honors trips is to learn first-hand how a wide spectrum of successful companies approach the full product development cycle, from concept to realization; namely how products are conceived, how decisions are made at the corporate level to pursue certain products and not others, and how product concepts are refined, engineered, and then manufactured for the marketplace. Two additional goals of the international trip are to gain an appreciation for the special challenges of developing products and processes for a global marketplace, and to compare and contrast the policies and practices of U.S. companies with those of international competitors.
