 Vibrations Lab
Location: 2100 Gleason

Description/Projects:
The Vibrations Lab houses testing equipment used for dynamic
characteristics identification and vibration response determination of
vibratory systems and components. The equipment supports the Lab sections
associated with the Engineering Vibration (0304-758) and Modal Testing and
Signal Processing (0304-846) courses. The equipment is also used to
support the vibration-related Senior Design and M.S. theses projects. The
Lab also houses a coordinate measuring machine (CMM) for mapping surfaces
used primarily by students in the Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
class (0304-312) and as needed.
