Jack Little

Adjunct Professor, College of Engineering

Jack has taught in the MPD curriculum since it was first introduced as a degree program at RIT. In addition, he has been active in both the MML and MBA degree programs.

During his industrial career, he served in a variety of management jobs in R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, Quality and Safety both at the corporate and division levels. His industrial career was highlighted by his extensive experience as an early implementer of techniques and philosophies associated with lean manufacturing, total quality and world class manufacturing. He gained a national reputation for his successful implementation of these techniques and philosophies into a variety of product types.

Co-founder of a successful start-up manufacturing company he is familiar with the problems and cultures associated with both large and small companies.

He has also served as a consultant for a many companies including Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, Westinghouse, Ford and Sybron.

Jack is a graduate of the College of Ceramics, at Alfred University with Bachelors and Masters degrees in Ceramic Engineering as well as a graduate of RIT with an MBA degree.
