Microelectronic Engineering
"During the summer before my freshman year, I participated in a
computer-building seminar for entering female engineering students, which
was sponsored and run by the Women in Engineering program. From that summer
to the present, I have remained involved in the program and fully support
its purpose and activities. The Women in Engineering program not only
gives female engineering students opportunities to become involved in
extracurricular activities, but also provides an academic and social support
group. By participating in the Women in Engineering program, my time at
RIT has been enriched with the experience of meeting new people, expanding
my horizons, and realizing my potential to make an impact in the engineering
field."
