Co-op: Fairchild Semiconductor
“I worked on co-op at Fairchild Semiconductor in South Portland,
Maine, as a process engineer. I already knew the lingo and background
information pertaining to semiconductors, so I started my job with minimal
training. I was able to apply the material I learned at RIT on the job.
The co-op students working in Portland form a supportive network and organize
social events, so there is never a dull moment. I also had a great time
seeing another part of the country.”
