Electrical Engineering

“I first came to RIT as a junior in high school trying to figure out where I wanted to study engineering. An RIT engineering professor met with me and discussed my academic and career options with me. That is the type of concern and attention I have come to expect as a student here in the College of Engineering.

“Every engineering student in is an investment in the future. RIT understands that and invests a lot of resources in us. Whether you are a prospective student coming for a visit, an undergraduate working on a project, or a graduate student trying to finish your thesis, there is always someone who is willing to help you out.

“All of the engineering disciplines are evolving. RIT’s College of Engineering evolves to keep pace. Obsolete classes are dropped and replaced with more relevant ones. Lab equipment has been completely upgraded not once but twice in my years of study here. The faculty and staff go out of their way to make sure their students are as prepared as possible for the world outside their doors.”
