Zayneb Ghazle

Physician Assistant, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant division, University of Rochester
Zayneb Ghazle is a RIT graduate from the class of 2024. She graduated as a double major earning a Bachelor’s degree in diagnostic medical sonography and a Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in physician assistant. She is currently pursuing her medical passions as a physician assistant at the University of Rochester within the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant division. Professionally, she is an active member of the Rochester Regional Physician Assistant Association, American Academy of Physician Associates and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine.
During her time at RIT, she was engaged in and held numerus leadership positions. She was the President and Vice President of the Ultrasound Student Association, Senator of the College of Health Sciences and Technology within Student Government, a Representative of the Center for Statesmanship, Law and Liberty, a Member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and a Founder of the RIT Student Alumni Alliance. She was involved in the RIT Physician Assistant Student Association, the Health Sciences and Technology Student Association, the Global Health Association and Global Union. Academically, she was an Honors Program member, a New York Area Health Education Center Scholar, an Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar, Statesman scholar, Nathaniel Rochester Scholarship awardee, and a Dean’s list recipient throughout her time at RIT. She was also a RIT student ambassador (Admissions Office tour guide) for 5 years!
In addition to being involved within the RIT community, Zayneb continues to pursue her passions and commitments toward community service, health and education by volunteering for organizations such as the Special Olympics and organizing fundraisers benefitting the American Cancer Society, local food drives and more. She has established an annual, community building tradition within her college, by organizing a basketball tournament fundraiser that donates all proceeds to the winning team’s charity of choice. Fifteen hundred dollars was donated to the American Cancer Society in 2022, the first year of the fundraiser. Guided by integrity, passion and motivation, Zayneb is excited to embrace new challenges and opportunities, continuously striving to make a meaningful impact on others, the RIT community and her profession.
