Note: Nicole Lopez ’21 (CAD) and Dean Nguyen ’21 (CET) met each other at RIT in 2016, and they just recently celebrated their wedding on November 14, 2025, surrounded by family and friends. Many of their guests were fellow RIT alumni, involved in the founding and early growth of the RIT Game Symphony Orchestra club, making the celebration a joyful mini‑GSO reunion.

Note: David Spindel ’64 (GAP) is an acclaimed photographer whose six-decade career includes portraits of legendary athletes such as: Joe DiMaggio, Willie Mays, Duke Snyder, Phil Rizzuto, Whitey Ford, Yogi Berra, Ralph Branca, and Bobby Thomson. In the entertainment industry, he has photographed renowned personalities like Eli Wallach and his wife Ann Jackson, Jerry Stiller and his wife Anne Meara, Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca, George Burns, Liberace, Chuck Connors, Marty Allen and Steve Rossi, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Tony Randall, Dr. Ruth, and Mark Leonard who played Spock’s father on Star Trek. Spindel was commissioned in the early 1990s by Abbeville Press to create an eight-book series on Major League Baseball teams, featuring still-life images of memorabilia he collected. His photographs have been published in several books from this photo session, one of which is titled, The Summer of 1980.
