Note: Lydia Yeckley ’19 (KGCOE) and her father competed on Discovery Channel’s Rocket Around The Xmas Tree as the Snow It Alls. On the air in December 2020, the rocket competition featured launching holiday trees, sleighs, toy soldiers and more.

Name: Eric Thomas

Note: Eric Thomas ’16 (CHST) MS ’16 (CHST) graduated from the Simon School of Business in Rochester with a Master’s of Business Administration in December of 2020. Thomas also holds a Master’s of Medical Management from Simon. In 2020, Thomas was also promoted to Deputy Chief and Vice President of Clinical Care at CHS Mobile Integrated Health Care (in Rochester) where he oversees ~200 prehospital medical providers. Thomas is also appointed to the Department of Emergency Medicine, and Divisions of Cardiac Surgery and Prehospital Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Note: Timothy Cosgriff MS ’96 (CAST) exhibits at George Eastman Museum in Holiday Sweet Creations Exhibit 2020. Timothy Cosgriff, Director of Community Events for SUNY Empire State College. Timothy has exhibited at the Museum in this exhibit for over ten years. He currently has two works on display. His wreath is made from found objects that have been repurposed. His gingerbread creation is based on the film “Harvey “and features two Lomography Fish Eye Camera images on film. Dr. Peggy S. Terhune, President and CEO, Monarch

Note: Dr. Peggy S. Terhune MBA ’84 (SCB) received North Carolina’s Order of the Long Leaf Pine award, the highest honor bestowed by North Carolina’s governors to individuals who have made significant contributions to the state and their communities through their exemplary service and outstanding accomplishments. Dr. Terhune was recognized for her outstanding work as an advocate and leader in services and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders. Dr. Terhune serves as the President and CEO of Monarch, a statewide organization serving more than 31,000 North Carolinians with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental illness and substance use disorders each year. She celebrated her 25th anniversary as CEO in 2020.

Note: Dr. Kristen Willmott MS ’06 (CAST)) recently had a book published by Information Age Publishing. "Gender, Tenure and the Pursuit of Work-Life-Family Stability" is a timely work that may be of interest to anyone juggling work, home and family. Willmott has an MS from RIT and a PhD from the University of Rochester. She has several family ties to RIT, as her sister, brother and cousin are all alumni, and her husband, Benjamin Willmott, is the Operations Manager of Performing Arts in RIT’s College of Liberal Arts.

September 5, 2020- Rachel Herman (BS ’13 MS ’14) and Spencer Crandell (BS ’13) were married in a small outdoor ceremony in front of a senior living facility, so that Rachel’s grandmother could be a part of the celebration.

Note: September 5, 2020 - Rachel Herman ’13 (CAST) MS ’14 (CAST) and Spencer Crandell ’13 (KGCOE) were married in a small outdoor ceremony in front of a senior living facility, so that Rachel’s grandmother could be a part of the celebration. Rachel and Spencer met and began dating during their studies at RIT! Following their wedding, they adopted their new puppy, Penny!
