Eric Bellmann
Eric Bellmann, a native of Rochester, NY, studied at SUNY Buffalo and, in 1965, was the first to graduate with an MFA in Printmaking from Rochester Institute of Technology. For 12 years he served as Chairperson of RIT's Part-Time Studies in Art, Craft and Design. He is known primarily for his printmaking and drawing work. He is a two-time prize winner of the Finger Lakes Annual- one award for drawing and the other for printmaking. Bellmann's work can be seen in over 50 public collections, including the Memorial Art Gallery, the Charleston Art Gallery, and the Allentown Village Art Society. He has been commissioned to do work for the Rochester Philharmonic, RIT, and Xerox, among others. Bellmann was also a tenured professor at RIT.
