Henry Emerson Tuttle

Henry Emerson Henry Tuttle is best known for his etchings and illustrations of birds. Tuttle's career as an artist did not begin until 1925, when he was 35 years old. His etchings were so well received that he devoted himself to art from then on. Tuttle also served as Curator of Prints at the Yale Art Gallery in the 1930s and 1940s.
